"I'd Give Anything To Eat My Tail"

Original IBL art - crayon, chalk, scoring (scissors) and water on coaster, 3.5 x 3.5 inches, 4/15/12.

  1. I like the non-crucifix line of thought as well. Your photography set-up is using a large diffuse light which creates soft shadows. How about using a point light source like a flashlight or candle and seeing how sharp, dark shadows make it change. Likewise a contrasting backdrop - maybe black velvet or felt or satin.

  2. I've been trying to pass along these images, the best I can, as they might look if the object was right in front of you. The only exception being the shadow play on Centurion Piercing Christ's Side which I posted on 4/1. But your point is well taken. Would be more an exploration of photography then as opposed to just "taking a picture" of the object and passing it along. I will consider, thanks...
