"Black Sheets of Rain"

  1. I'm a little confused here. The red dots are working for me. I get the crown of thorns, the nails in the wrists [!], and feet. But the side wound? It's almost like his feet are at ground level. I can see this thing animated. High POV, with the cross on the ground, first the red crown dot, then hammering sounds as the three nail dots appear. Then the whole thing gets raised up and dropped in the hole. Then the side wound with laughter in the background. Then gradually building sheets of black rain. Gotta have thunder and lightning. Red dots start to smear down maybe. Red velvet curtains close. Smattering of polite applause. A cross shape starts to glow behind the curtain. It increases intensity until the curtains burst into flame. Sound effect pandemonium breaks out in the theater. Room collapses in falling beams, flame and smoke. Fin.

  2. The side wound is a piercing that comes either right before he dies or right after he dies, can't remember which. A Roman does the honours. I'm addressing that in the Centurion Piercing Christ's Side sketches that you've seen here on the blog...
