Though you never let him/her out of your house because he/she is not
that kind of a cat, nonetheless you have searched everywhere inside and
he/she has gone missing. So you
post flyers on telephone poles in your neighborhood and a variety of
other places throughout
the city with a photo of your cat, and a phone number to contact you in
case anybody sees him/her. A few days later (and I'd prefer to skirt the specifics to be perfectly honest), you receive the unhappy information that your cat is no more.
Do you then retrace your steps throughout the city to remove all of the flyers you have frantically posted?
