A clever thing to say, with regard to the weather, would be if it was, you know, maybe 35 degrees today but, then, looking ahead on the forecast, they knew it would be maybe 70 degrees tomorrow, and so then a clever thing to say at that point would be maybe "Chili today, hot tamale", as a kind of a humorous weather report because - right? - if it were literally 35 degrees outside today it would likely be chilly, and then if it were going to be 70 degrees the next day it would certainly be warmer, and might even feel "hot" by comparison. Plus, then, you get the double food pun which is awesome - "chili" for "chilly"; "tamale" for "tomorrow".
(You see because...)
